The sheetrock was delivered today and it gets hung tomorrow. I know that visually it will be a huge change to the room but I’m guessing I’ll be surprised at how big the change will seem. I’ll let you know……
I made my first sale on our etsy shop a couple weeks ago! That was a huge thrill! Just in time to buy a new computer. The motherboard went out on my laptop so I ordered a new one. Luckily, I didn’t lose any files. But still, it’s a pain in the neck. I’ll get more things listed this week. Although, I was off line most if last week I was still doing some crafting. A few necklaces that I really like. Another hat. A few journals. Some cool old bottles that I paired up with some great vintage labels that I got about a month ago. I might make some beaded flowers to put in them. We’ll see…
Beth’s Super Secret 80′s party was a ton of fun! It was almost like I got to go to a dance with today’s friends, back then. I don’t know if that makes sense. It does to me. Great friends and music and food and a keg that we didn’t have to get someone’s older brother to buy for us! It was a great way to end a tedious week. Now I don’t have to lie to Beth anymore, either. I’m not a fan of lying so I found myself avoiding her so I wouldn’t have to lie. I wasn’t a fan of avoiding her, either.
I took a quick walk around the yard today. Quite a few perennials and bulbs are coming up. Luckily, the very healthy crop of Creeping Charlie is off to a great start. I’ve surrendered myself to it. It’s green and I respect that. From a distance it looks great! I don’t think it’s worth fighting anything that has that much of a will to live.
